Donation Refund Policy

Donations made to the United for Lívia campaign are voluntary and final. We do, however, recognise that situations may arise in which a donor needs to request a refund.
1. Eligible requests
We accept refund requests in the following cases:
- Duplicate charges or amounts different from those intended;
- Donations made by mistake (wrong amount or frequency);
- Suspected unauthorised use of the payment method.
2. Deadline
Requests must be submitted within a maximum of 14 days from the donation date.
3. How to request
Send an email to contact@unitedforlivia.com with the following information:
- Full name of the donor;
- Date, amount and payment method of the donation;
- Reason for the refund request.
4. Processing
Eligible requests are processed within up to 10 business days, with the refund issued via the same payment method used for the original donation. Any fees charged by financial institutions are non-refundable.
5. Tax receipts
If a tax receipt has already been issued, it will be cancelled together with the refund. The donor agrees not to use a cancelled receipt for tax deduction purposes.
