This Privacy Policy describes how the charitable campaign United for Lívia collects, uses, stores and protects the personal data of visitors and donors to this site, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR — EU Regulation 2016/679) and applicable European Union legislation.

The data controller is the United for Lívia campaign, which can be contacted at contact@unitedforlivia.com.

We collect only the data strictly necessary to process your donation:
- Name (optional — you may choose to donate anonymously)
- Support message (optional)
- Email (optional — for donation receipt or updates)
- Donation amount and payment method
- Technical browsing data (IP address, browser type, pages visited)
3. Purposes and legal basis
Data is processed for the following purposes:
- Process your donation and issue a receipt (contract execution);
- Comply with tax and accounting obligations (legal obligation);
- Send campaign updates, with your consent;
- Analyse site performance and prevent fraud (legitimate interest).
4. Sharing data with third parties
Your data is never sold or transferred to third parties for commercial purposes. It may be shared, exclusively to provide the service, with:
- Payment processors (Viva.com);
- Hosting and web analytics providers (under confidentiality terms);
- Public authorities, when legally required.

Tax and accounting data is retained for the legally required period (10 years). Other data is kept only for the time necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
